This spring I have installed a couple of bee hives. I have kept bees in the past and due to circumstances have not had bees for several years. So this year I have installed two new hives.

After I put them in, I came back 1 week later to check the feeder. I did not open up the hives except to refill top-feeders. Maybe this coming weekend I will get up there to open the hives. I wouldn't mind seeing how much progress they've made and confirming a queen.

I also need to build a couple of medium supers with frames and get those on and then build 2 quilt boxes for later in the fall before the winter.
